ABOUT US

TALLOW History

Tallow has been used for centuries as a natural skincare, medicinal ointment, and even a cooking fat. Ancient civilizations, including the Egyptians, Romans, and Indigenous cultures, discovered its powerful moisturizing and healing properties.

In the Middle Ages, tallow was commonly used in soap-making, wound care, and candle production, proving its versatility. For generations, people relied on animal fats for skincare before the rise of synthetic beauty products.

Tallow is so beneficial because it is rich in essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K)—all crucial for skin repair, hydration, and anti-aging. Unlike modern lotions with chemicals, tallow closely mimics human skin oils, making it highly absorbable and deeply nourishing.

Now, tallow is making a comeback as people rediscover ancestral wisdom and seek out natural, sustainable skincare solutions!
